Corporate culture appears to be fantastic, but leadership has their finger off the pulse of the store cultures so much that the encouraging environment is not necessarily experienced at the store locations.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire people you can trust to run a great store. Salaried managers should be of a caliber level that they should not need their schedules micro-managed. Also, demanding 6 day per week/70 hours per week during the holidays even if the store is doing well, is an absurd expectation that reveals that individual employee’s worklife balance is not important to the company.
