It's like highschool.
Support from management
You do what they want WHEN they want or get cut hours and get written up for something you didn't do, refuse to sign the write up and you get in trouble for insubordination. They're all good friends outside of work, so you can't go to any one of them without being lashed out from one or the other. Plain and simple.
Depends on who you're working with.
Freedom to work independently
Nope. Not after a new team leader. Even though some of us had been there for more than 2 years
Regular communication? What's that?
Overall compensation for your work
I punch in, do my job RIGHT, punch out, get emailed, called, and texted why I didn't do more. They always want more. It's never enough.
Office / Work Environment
Residents make it worth while.
Apparently Holton is more important than breathing. If you don't think that way, read my section about management.
Nope. And the truth is, they don't care what their image is like. And I quote "No. I personally don't people care what people think, I'm in my position which is what matters to me. People come and go, someone will always need a job and will put up with anything for money"
Job security? What's that? Complain and you'll lose MORE hours.
The only section that got the highest rating...it's a nursing home. What do you expect?
Refrain from getting hurt accidently. Even if it wasn't your fault because they'll make your life miserable for trying to use worker's comp. The thing is, they refuse to staff enough people for safety because they wanna save money.
The work load isn't bad at all. It's the constant reprimand action. Even with seniority and loyalty.
Inclusive / Diverse
Yep. "I don't care who's working as long as there's a body on the floor so we don't get in trouble"
Suggestions for improvement
- Replace the whole panel of friends that makes up management (recruitment through their clique) with professionals and Holton will sky rocket to be the 5 star facility it once was.
What I like about the company
