The culture not just the store but the entire company is one of accepting and mediocre performance throughout the organization. I worked in 6 stores and in each it is the same.
If you wish to grow as a Manger you will not do it here.
If you wish to unload trucks and again find your self in an environment only looking for the base minimum out of themselves ( the managers ) so called
and the associates. This is then the organization for you. Prior to my years there I worked for much larger companies where as a Manager you actually made decisions.
Maybe this is why I saw So Many People come and go most of them staying about 13 months maybe 15.
Suggestions for improvement
- I have nothing but respect how the company is ran as a company. But the culture of making the fundamental management mistake which seems to be throughout their managers. Is one of continuing to focus on what your get as an associate and accepting poor working ethic as well nothing we can do. They like many organizations believe they should focus on the flee on the lame dogs tale and follow their lead. Instead of focusing on the lead dog and requiring the rest of the pack to keep up or be left behind.
