Each department has its own culture
Support from management
Management is very busy and overworked. Can be difficult to get in-touch with, but will help/support, if you constantly remind them of your need/concern. If it's about safety, they're right on it ASAP.
working together is a MUST for patient safety and care.
Email is primary communication. Not all employees can access email daily.
Management is 50% female. CEO is female.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Very diverse. Employees are 20 to 82 years old.

We are far behind other hospital systems, and our competitors, regarding pay-rate, for Infusion Pharmacy Technicians.
Office / Work Environment
Facilities are in accordance with law.

Each dept is different. I work rotating shifts, but not bad compared to other healthcare careers.

Inclusive / Diverse
Medical field naturally doesn't have much room for this. Very structured and "well-oiled machine", as is necessary.
Suggestions for improvement
- As always, more staff. More thought given to the comfort of employees. No one in my department even has convenient access to a water cooler, or a place to set personal belongings -- need feminine products? money for the snack machine? Chapstick? -- better
What I like about the company
I enjoy the comradery within my immediate work environment. It is unique, as there are only 7 of us in my department, and we spend 8 to 10 hours together, daily, in a small sterile room. It's just us, all working together, making IV medications as the ord

Everyone is over-worked and underpaid.
