Support from management
Upper management not in agreement with each other, role conflict with no support from upper management
Employees worked well together and close knit
Men have more opportunities and are compensated much better for doing less work and holding lower position. Level of education and experience does not matter.
Do not care about employees furthering their education or career
Expected to work long work days, often open to close, must always be available even on non scheduled days
Suggestions for improvement
- Either run your company as a family owned business or as a corporate structure. You cannot have both. Value your employees as they are not a dime a dozen. Good, loyal workers are hard to find in the retail business.
What I dislike about the company
They boast they are a family owned business and convey that image to customers, yet try to implement a more corporate structure with employees. This obviously is not a cohesive environment
