The lack of professional growth and awareness prevents this among mid-level management and within various departments. Upper level, off site management/administration lack true leadership qualities that empower and drive organizational excellence in a healthy manner.
There is absolutely no work-life balance. There is tremendous pressure regarding working hours. Hours do not fall on a normal scale overall , and families are not taken into consideration. The lack of a healthy work-life balance coupled with upper level toxic (lack of ) leadership is what propels this organization to the bottom of the barrel.
