Suggestions for improvement
- They need a more lenient FMLA policy for intermittent leave. HR tends to be rather unresponsive when employees voice concerns, so there should be a system that tracks the progress of those concerns or some kind of follow-up.
What I like about the company
We have employee events such as Christmas parties and employee seminars where we get training, meals, gift cards, prizes, and sometimes money. They have jeans days every week and once every month during which we receive prizes, food, and sometimes play games. We celebrate holidays with contests, potlucks, prizes, and more. They really take our input into consideration and are responsive. We are always encouraged to set goals and are supported in those goals. Management is very friendly and present during the work day. There are some opportunities for development and chances to move up.
What I dislike about the company
I don't like that their mission is "Clients first." I think they should consider their employees over the clients. If you treat your employees well, they will take care of your clients. I also think their FMLA policy is bogus. People who are on intermittent FMLA for unavoidable health reason have to drain their PTO first, and those people never get any actual time off.
