Suggestions for improvement
- Being fair when it comes to letting people go. Some have been let go for minor offenses but someone who continues to make mistakes, cause problems with staff just gets moved around with no punishment. Also for the size of the organization we are not, and hate not been adequately staffed for some time. We work too many 6 day weeks and lillte availability to flex our time for working weekends.
What I like about the company
As mentioned I've worked here for 13 years. A few times I have applied for advancement to management, while I was never given the opportunity, I am a lead in my current position and am very happy with the work I do, members I help everyday and the compensation for what I do. They respect my opinions and suggestions and when possible have implemented change based on those suggestions.
What I dislike about the company
My experience with upper management, there is definitely favoritism when promoting or only hiring for management positions from outside the company rather than train well qualified current employees.
