What I like about the company

I feel trusted by my employers, they respect that I have an advanced degree (PhD) and they understand that low-level tutoring work isn't ideal for me except as something to pass the time while I apply for other things. They have offered me other appropriate duties as well, such as grant-writing and marketing opportunities. I'm glad to work with them for now. Everyone is friendly, and I feel like I am learning more about how children learn.

What I dislike about the company

Some of the books we use are a little outdated. We are also unable to support a robust student-teacher ratio, which we really need to handle some of the students with special learning circumstances.

Working with students is the only positive rewarding part of the job and the only reason I’ve stayed all these years
