So much waste, no better or worse than any other grocery store, but still so much wasted food everyday. Hardly anything is recycled, not even paper or plastic. The easiest things to recycle.
Full time employees are expected to be VERY FLEXIBLE with their schedule, working all holidays including thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
Very few people are removed from their posts. If they are it’s for a good reason like theft or consistently calling in sick etc.
The front doors and aisles are wide enough for wheelchairs however the “back room “ where everything is stored is not AT ALL. It’s hardly accessible to able bodied people, even heavy set people will have trouble getting to what they need at times.
Mostly a safe environment however the “back room” in which everything is stored is a disorganized mess and major tripping hazard. People have fallen in the past, it’s a matter of time before it happens again.
Working in customer service is always stressful. The people are the most difficult part of the job regardless of what positions or department you’re in.
