Staff is not made to feel as if they have any say on anything.

Always short-handed. Staff had to work this way for long periods of the year.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay does not match the work being done. Benefits are good, but that's the only thing good thing I can say.
Office / Work Environment
Employees always have something negative to say, especially when mgt puts a lot of pressure on them to bring up survey scores. This property thinks too highly of guest surveys! Mgt should let staff do what they, interact w/guest! They do this all day long, so let them just do it! Also, daily meetings to remind them of this, is like beating a dead horse: the more to push, the less of a result you want, you will not get. Your staff will resent you, and do the opposite of what you want!

The benefits-insurance, vacation (except when forced to take them and be able to save them when actually needed!).
What I dislike about the company
Their attitude towards guest survey scores are out of control! Too much pressure on staff to make mgt happy so they can make themselves look good to corporate!
