The only time management offers suggestions or commanding an employee is during yearly review.
Support from management
Not there half the time.
Management seem to try to divide employees.
Freedom to work independently
There are weekly meetings where management listens but never acts on suggestions.
We had weekly meetings that lead to no change or advancement.
There was a number of women that worked there but none lasted very long. Management always referred them as "she" or "her" but not her name.
Attitude towards older colleagues
There was only one long-serving colleague. Senior workers may be hired but used then fired.
There was only one employee that was there for more than a couple of years.
Overall compensation for your work
Salary are below average and commissions only paid after asking numerous times. There are no benefits available.
Office / Work Environment
It is an old building with outdated equipment. The computers were cheap laptops with a server that is on it's last leg.
This company blends chemicals that occasionally had strong odors that burn eyes and nose.
Management shows no concern of employees family needs.
Image is everything for management but nothing like reality.
People came and went so often that there is no security.
The the building is on the ground floor so there are no stairs to manuver however the doors are not wide enough for handicapped people and the bathrooms are not accessible either.
Some jobsite require that the employees be certified "confined space" trained but most are not honestly trained. The management asked the employee if they took the on line class.
I had a sense of pride and accomplishment but management didn't care.
