Treated as a number. Although this is a union shop a 6 month new hire has just as much seniority as a 40 year veteran. Too many examples to advise why you should remove this company from consideration.
Support from management
Managements support consists of having an experienced worker provide support since management has no working knowledge.
I give teamwork a good score because the experienced employees teach the new hires what management does not even know what to teach.
Freedom to work independently
You are told what to do and when to do it including a buzzer that tells you when you wash your hands, when your permitted to leave your department for a 10 minute break or a 20 minute lunch along with another buzzer telling you when to get back to your machine.
Could be better if management could communicate what the guy on the floor needs to know. Knowledgeable leadership is better than unrealized boasting.
Same answer as the inclusive and diversification answer above. Hourly female workers are segregated as much as they can be within managements financial ‘desirable’ limitations.

Depends on your hire date. Two tiered pay scale, younger employees will never reach the competition of older employees
Office / Work Environment
Salary and hourly employees are your typical white colar vs union worker, no team work for the greater benefit of the company or job security
Depends on the grade school type clicks you become friends with
Work life is not bad as you work an 8 hour shift, punch out and forget about your work until the next day.
Overtime is usually available, then punch out and forget about the place.
Of all competitors in this industry there is only one that is currently less respected.
Considering limited funds to invest back into the company, who knows if the bakery will have enough flour to bake bread.
Behind the times
OSHA has been called in enough time through the years to keep them on their toes.
