5 hrs per week not cutting it.
They seem to care for their shoppers.
Support from management
Not impressed with most of the management there, including the store manager. The kids once person who I view in a positive light.
Person I with today, I rate get a two. There's another one there is rate about 2.5. Boehner there are about 3 ppl I'd give 4s to. They are friendly and helpful.
Freedom to work independently
Ads long as there isn't a void that needs a manager to assist with.
Information is not shared well in our area and many times "specials" don't ring up properly. I can't make adjustments so I have to wait on someone who can, while the customer waits.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Seems to be okay. There are many older generation ppl working including baby boomers.
Overall compensation for your work
Above minimum wage
Office / Work Environment
Nothing exciting to speak of.
Nothing that could be recycled is.
Seems like if I can't give my manager an open schedule I get no hours. Some ppl have families and kids have appointments... god forbid.
I was told I'd be working 20+ hours/we. Started at 15, then 10, then 5, and some weeks 0.
Even a caveman could do it.
Inclusive / Diverse
Many different ethnicities work there.
Suggestions for improvement
- I'm not planning to stay there so no comment.
What I like about the company
Most of the customers are great!
What I dislike about the company
Seems to be favorites.
I'd recommend this place with caveats. If your able to get the hours you need to pay bills, it's a plus. Otherwise, I'd read carefully.
