- Idx Corporation13.Nov 2015
A culture of individualism and expediency, not procedure and excellence. Established processes are not followed or enforced. No one is held to any demonstrable standard.
Departments and individuals tend to do their own thing regardless of organizational priorities or goals
Information is hoarded by departments and individuals leaving the majority of the workforce uninformed and confused. Even the most basic information needed to accomplish projects seldom reaches the personnel doing the work.
There is little chance for career advancement at this company. There is no training program, including that of new hires who are often left to their own devices. There is no committment to building institutional memory, best practices, or capitalizing on employee experience.
Office / Work Environment
The facility is often times filthy, unkempt, and unorganized.
This is the most redeeming quality of this organization. It is very flexible and understanding allowing employees every opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance
Almost no one is happy or proud to say the work for this organization.
There is no functioning safety program. Accidents frequently go unreported. Personnel are not disciplined when they violate safety procedures. Safety is something that is only paid lip service.
There is very little organizational pride in the final output of the goods and services we provide.
