Support from management
Corporate management ignores everything plant level employees report to them.
7 general managers in 7 years at the location I worked at, mainly due to lack of support at the corporate level
Ifco does not know the meaning of work/life balance. Put in 70-80 hour work weeks without compensation
Suggestions for improvement
- Listen to the employees who you hired to manage the plant. They might know a bit more than the high school dropouts you are paying to build pallets
- Instead of getting rid of people who actually work hard, try to fix the problems at hand. If an employee is visibly frustrated, find out why, and make changes to fix the problem
