Supervisors will watch you work short. They will not pitch in and help they will freeze see you after work at 12 1/2 hour shift instead of pitching if they act as though they're not even nurses
Support from management
There is no integrity and that starts from the top they will fire management and bring them back because no one else wants the position .
Freedom to work independently
Management will not help at all nurses receive three day training and expect you to know it all
Going to meetings I win the state has state is on them.
Overall compensation for your work
CNA's should be paid more and nurses should receive benefits
Office / Work Environment
You work short of staff and supplies.
The company does not even recognize FMLA if you take a day they want you to make it up that defeats the purpose of FMLA and it is against the law
Employees do not talk fondly regarding company and the company reflects everything the employees speak
Suggestions for improvement
- Teach management to train walk by example and pitch in and help with bringing back people that was once fired because if they were fired It was a reason and to bring old DON's back you haven't solved the problem you only feel the gap
What I dislike about the company
The company do not train new nurses properly three days is not enough time to train a nurse in real life after graduating from nursing school and when that mistake is made because of the lack of training there are no support systems in place to help the nurses feel comfortable there are no packages put in place with the nurses are able to see what needs to be done in every situation there are no supervisors there to be a support system for the new nurse .
