Suggestions for improvement

  • As mentioned in my previous response a more defined structured Merit increase system would be great to know. That Way employees and their leadership teams have a clear understanding of what is to be expected in order to receive such an increase.

What I like about the company

Overall I would say that the company as a whole interacts very well with each other. Upper management doesn't hold their heads high as if they're better than everybody else, but instead wishes just to learn and get opinions and feedback from employees on what direction the company is heading in. They do a great job of keeping everybody up to date with company news, events, and policy changes that are coming into effect. Specifically to my department, there is a great culture of friendship and teamwork where everyone is working together to achieve a common goal. We work with Agile development processes and strive to provide the best that we can for our customers and clients. I've honestly never felt more welcome or trusted at any company that I've worked for. They honestly value my opinions on things and to have on several occasions taken direct input from me and I've seen it reflected into our team operates.

What I dislike about the company

When it comes to Merit increases, the company strives very hard to award those who are top performers. The only downside to this, is there's not a clear defined line of what constitutes a top performer. Making it difficult to understand reasoning when it comes to whether or not one receives a merit increase. But as long as you push yourself and constantly interact and work with your leadership teams, you'll be able to keep yourself in a top performer position. I just don't like how that is a little fuzzy as far as what exactly constitutes a top performer.

Company Culture

Used to be 5 star, but a lot of sales reps are under tremendous pressure and management has gone from friendly to less so.

Support from management

Excellent training, help from beginning to end of sales cycle.

Freedom to work independently

It's changed to micromanagement over the last 8 months.

Internal Communication

The company is netorious for not communicating changes that affect how you sell product. This is less so in sales, but we get affected nonetheless.

Overall compensation for your work

You can make $200k + in inside sales. Salery is a bit low, but bonuses, residuals, accelerators, are excellent. Their is an overcrowded salesforce, however, which makes it more difficult for newer sales reps to make great money.

Work-Life Balance

Upper managent expects a lot of time put into work, but allow time off when needed.

Job Security

It is sales...you are as secure as your ability

Challenging Work

Excellent for people who are intelligent and are good at the complex sell.

What I like about the company

Good pay, great group of people, bnefits are good.

What I dislike about the company

United Healthcare sucks, senior management and executive mgt not so friendly any longer. Silos for a smaller organization.
