Suggestions for improvement
- As mentioned in my previous response a more defined structured Merit increase system would be great to know. That Way employees and their leadership teams have a clear understanding of what is to be expected in order to receive such an increase.
What I like about the company
Overall I would say that the company as a whole interacts very well with each other. Upper management doesn't hold their heads high as if they're better than everybody else, but instead wishes just to learn and get opinions and feedback from employees on what direction the company is heading in. They do a great job of keeping everybody up to date with company news, events, and policy changes that are coming into effect. Specifically to my department, there is a great culture of friendship and teamwork where everyone is working together to achieve a common goal. We work with Agile development processes and strive to provide the best that we can for our customers and clients. I've honestly never felt more welcome or trusted at any company that I've worked for. They honestly value my opinions on things and to have on several occasions taken direct input from me and I've seen it reflected into our team operates.
What I dislike about the company
When it comes to Merit increases, the company strives very hard to award those who are top performers. The only downside to this, is there's not a clear defined line of what constitutes a top performer. Making it difficult to understand reasoning when it comes to whether or not one receives a merit increase. But as long as you push yourself and constantly interact and work with your leadership teams, you'll be able to keep yourself in a top performer position. I just don't like how that is a little fuzzy as far as what exactly constitutes a top performer.
