Definitely not a climate of fairness and trust. Supervisors and leaders show favoritism to certain employees. Friends of supervisors are hired for many key positions.
Support from management
Leadership is lacking in communication with employees, making clear, realistic decisions and managing the workplace in a fair and effective manner.
Freedom to work independently
Workloads are not fairly distributed; employees to do not have any say in their areas of responsibility
Communication needs to be drastically improved. Employees are only given feedback when supervisors feel they have done something wrong.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Long serving employees are definitely not given the respect and appreciation they deserve.
Office / Work Environment
Some employees have good equipment supplies and working conditions and others are denied these things.
There is peer pressure and supervisory pressure in terms of working hours. It is hard to take vacation days. Working hours definitely do fall into a normal scale for many employees. Many employees are so overloaded with work they must continue their work at home even when they have put in more than a full day at the workplace.
Safety needs to be improved. Executive leadership needs to make it a bigger priority.
Inclusive / Diverse
The leadership in this company needs to listen to employees opinions and comments. Employees are often shut down when trying to express themselves to leadership.
Suggestions for improvement
- Executives and Management should participate in Leadership and Management training and improvement seminars and courses. Management needs to listen to employees opinions and make efforts to improve communication and morale. An HR department is needed. Top management needs to watch what department leaders are doing more closely.
What I like about the company
My salary is good. Good health and 401 K benefits.
What I dislike about the company
Work long hours, do not feel appreciated, leadership is poor, lack of communication within company, favoritism is prevalent.
