Culture is abusive and disrespectful. Preach productivity and safety but then waste hours on rework because they were too lazy to do their job right in the first place. Safety only matters when they do not need a machine. Only care about getting more work for less pay.
Support from Management
The only support you get from management is a blok of wood thrown at you.
It is labor verse management at every turn. They want to take the skill out of the job so they do not need to pay for skilled labor. What you end up with is an inferior product.
