Very Histile and High Stress Workplace Environment

2.18

Workplace Safety

I don't believe they are OSHA compliant in all areas. They provide little to no training on workplace safety with the exception of the road patrol officer positions. Corrections Officers receive good training on safety but utilization of safety protocols is greatly inhibited by administration.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Complete change-over in administration and more accountability for higher-ups.

What I like about the company

Great benefits when I hired in, but due to budget cuts, many of those benefits have been eliminated. Great working hours. Quick accumulation of vacation time and sick time.

What I dislike about the company

Office politics are almost encouraged by administration and targeting of employees is frequently used to "encourage" people to leave when administration feels the need to "clean house" as they refer to it.
