Not a good place to work. Efforts are not recognized. Doesn't appreciate employee contributions. Ridiculous amounts of travel and working hours. No life away from work. Tied to phone. Abusive and vulgar treatment from Ownership on to office staff. No defined job description. Training is incomplete. Expectations are high and change often. Toxic work environment. Company is Not respected vendors, customers, or other businesses. Leadership unable to lead. Micro Management style.
Suggestions for improvement
- None. This company is beyond listening or accepting any suggestions that would indicate they have a problem, Accepting suggestions would be them admitting they are a poor employer.
- Be respectful of employees time off.
- Take a deep breath and realize in the grand scheme of things, there are no emergencies in POS or Digital Signage. A heightened sense of urgency doesn't mean one is empathetic. It only says you are desperate.
What I like about the company
I learned something new every day. If you do not take initiative to learn the job and wait to be trained you will not succeed here.
What I dislike about the company
The expectation of hours to be available to work. In order to get time off, you have to spend vacation time. They will call you relentlessly at the direction of the executive management, regardless of hours already worked or time off since your last job. i.e. Finish your job at 2 AM after traveling all day and working 12-20 hours and they call and call because they need some little piece of info or to berate you for whatever reason they feel justified in. The expectation to travel for months on en, to any state and very little time off in between is common among the field staff. It is a very hostile place to work. If you go to work for them, expect to want to leave within a few months of hire.
