Integrity was quick to provide feedback to all temp workers
Support from management
Integrity leaders were always around if you had a question, but they didn't do much except for giving out positive and negative write ups.
We worked side by side with permanent employees, and as always some were great while others could make life difficult by being lazy.
Freedom to work independently
Work was never distributed equally, favoritism existed. Little to no employee involvement in the areas they were expected to have accountability
Communication was frequent, but on numerous occasions during new directives information would be nonexistent with regards to training and expectations
Attitude towards older colleagues
As Integrity was a temp company, long service employees were nonexistent. They did gladly hire on older people, but they were worked into the ground
Advancement to a permanent employee was not done with fair treatment to employees. Again, favoritism abounds
Overall compensation for your work
Pay was fair, not great, for the location. It was always on time, and benefits were available
Office / Work Environment
The work areas were almost always very clean, but very little climate control. You would load boxes into trailers (by hand) in the winter, and the trailer was cold enough to have ice inside it.
Integrity just never brought these factors into the job.
Their schedules were good, stable, and allowed for family life to be planned.
For some the image of Integrity matches reality, but for many it doesn't. The most common issue observed was the daily special treatment some received over others
Temp agency. Stability is not in the vocabulary
Gave 3 because the need for accommodation was never observed
Lots of safety training. That said, they would hire with no selectivity, resulting in having workers that needed a job but weren't cut out for this job. Workers like this were frequently worked to the point of heat collapse in the summer, or to the point of injuring themselves. These workers were often just fired instead of putting already available resources into real problem solving
I gave this 4 because the challenge was frequently not the work itself, but the workload requirements
Inclusive / Diverse
This company was superb in hiring diversity.
Suggestions for improvement
- Integrity needs to apply its rules to all employees equally
What I like about the company
Ease of getting started in a local job.
What I dislike about the company
Observing people being treated with favor while others (often very hard workers) were overlooked for advancement opportunities
The following benefits were offered to me
