Glass ceiling after being in one position. The only way to move up is for someone to retire or to pass away unfortunately.
Suggestions for improvement
- Reviews for your employees. Performance raises for your hourly employees. Career development options and/or mentorships. Competitive compensation associated with experience and education. I myself was in the bottom 6% tile of my position as compared to others in my similar filed and experience in San Diego.
What I like about the company
Automony in my position to do what I need to get the job done. I'm not micromanaged which is a huge plus. I can listen to my music as long as I don't disturb others
What I dislike about the company
No career advancement/development. Being in administration, I can only move to become a sales manager, or EVP or the company. No job review for hourly employees makes it hard to narrow down strengths and areas of improvement. Very low pay. Don't pay adequately for the amount of work needed to be done. High turnover due to low pay provided
