Suggestions for improvement
- Start viewing your people as assets not problems. Allow leaders to lead, managers to manage, and get your hands out of every single pot. You can't micromanage your way to success which is evident in your current financial situation.
I like about the employer
Job Variety and Skill growth. Also one of the Owners was a good leader.
I dislike about the employer
This is quite possibly the worst company I have ever worked for. There is no sense of planning or system, employees are laid off without notice because of bad business decisions on the part of three of the Owners. People are treated like numbers, with no consideration whatsoever. Managers are usurped by the company owners, who have no faith in them. Micromanagement from the top. Inflexibility and lack of trust for managers and employees. Benefits for health are outrageous when it comes to family inclusion. (like $800+ per month). Taking time off was considered taboo even when vacation days were owed.
