The Corporation based in Texas did not do much for the branches in Michigan
Support from management
Corporation had high goals and expectations without being realistic about the Michigan market.
Some employees were all about themselves because of unrealistic goals
Freedom to work independently
You are allowed to do somethings yourself but most things have to go thru management
Management never communicated with employees about the status of the branch and what ways to improve numbers.
There is a female VP.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The are many seniors who work there.
Management did not assist with career development. They did not guide employees, who wanted to advance in position, how to accomplish this.
Overall compensation for your work
Starting compensation is good but to get rate increases you have to meet goals and goals are very high. Thus compensation is very rare.
Office / Work Environment
Very stressful enviroment
We wasted a lot of paper.
Management frowned on missing after work meetings or call nights for family obligations.
I wish they were more realistic about the expectations for the Branches in MI location.
You do not make your goals, you will not keep your job. The branch does not make the goals, they will shut them down.
The work was very routine and did not change.
Inclusive / Diverse
There are many different nationalities employed.
Suggestions for improvement
- The corporation needs to be more involved with branches outside of Texas and really review what the market is like, so that they can have more realistic goals for the branches.
What I like about the company
They have a good benefits package and they do match your 401K.
What I dislike about the company
