Suggestions for improvement
- Restructure upper level managment. Fill upper level positions with Iona Graduates - they care and are committed to the continued success of Iona College.
I like about the employer
Since it is an institutuion of higher education, you are offered great vacaction time, and there is a beautiful gym on campus.
I dislike about the employer
Upper level managment is severly lacking in the qualities and skills needed to run a successful institution of higher learning. Therefore, internally, there is limited employee satisfaction. Iona cares about numbers, but not providing quality academic services to students, and employee satisfaction is low, and each year, based on my observation, the internal community culture is falling apart - due to the very high level or employee turnover. Staff members are just not happy working at Iona College.
