Suggestions for improvement
- Stop badgering the employees who work really hard with customers to make it a pleasurable experience for them. Stop punishing good employees who do not "sell" enough credit cards, gift cards, or online shopping. Penney's loses a lot of good people, both employees and customers with this hard sell concept.
I like about the employer
Employee discounts; varied shifts; Most employees are really nice.
I dislike about the employer
PUSH PUSH PUSH to sell credit cards, gift cards, and process online purchases for customers. Quotas given but singled out in staff meetings for not doing MORE MORE MORE. Work hours drop drastically if employee is not one of the high sales in those 3 areas. Even if the employee gets great customer service reviews online. Customers also get tired of being asked constantly about these 3 things and they get annoyed with the CSR.
