Many managers here will side with our customers rather than backing up their "trusted" employees.
Good personal development opportunities, but no opportunities for promotion, or even fair market compensation.
Overall compensation for your work
Decent benefit package. Always paid on time. Compensation is at least 20% below market rates. They fight you the whole way if you try to promote an employee to compensate them more fairly for the work they do.
If it doesn't cut costs, it doesn't matter to the higher ups.
It's public sector, so we are always depending on the economy and what the public is willing to pay for.

Inclusive / Diverse
Officially, they promote an inclusive, and diverse work culture, but in reality, there are more bigots than anything else. There are individuals working here that don't even attempt to hide their racism.
What I like about the company
It is located where I want to live.
What I dislike about the company
Truly public sector. Lazy workers who are unable or unwilling to retrain and learn new skills.
