Suggestions for improvement
- Better health benefits, better job security. Be more competitive with less work share by utilizing tools to improve productivity.
Jacobs is very safety conscious and issues awards for those who identify safety issues.
I work with a very small 5-person team and we are very supportive of each other. Most other employees I have interacted with seem supportive as well. They are also "blind" to age and value experience.
Job security is tenuous because of the state of the oil and gas industry. But they do try hard to retain employees during the tough times.
Many friendly people.
No clear direction after purchasing this firm. No support finding new work.
Originally people will tell you they want to work with you but when the chips are down this is not true.
As long as existing clients continued to feed us work things were ok although we had constant complaints about our low margins.
They really value safety. There's mandatory safety tutorials. They offer free ice grips for your shoes in the winter. They send frequent emails about safety tips, to the point it's almost belaboring.
The leadership in the IDIQ shop is horrible.
No to many cry babies
