Manager could not fulfill her role and always talked about her subordinates to others. All team members did not work well together.
Tried but did not succeed.
Freedom to work independently
Allowed employees to work independently but did not do follow-up
Kept employees informed via email.
Attitude towards older colleagues
No one was over 45
Office / Work Environment
Had issues with the AC and tried to take care of the promptly
Recycle bins located nearby but not many people seem to use them.
Worked with employees to ensure a fair shift schedule
I could complete my hourly tasks in 10 minutes.
Inclusive / Diverse
Listened to ideas but sometimes did not pass them on to senior leadership
Suggestions for improvement
- Leadership needs to foster a better employee to employee work environment. Seems like many people took sides without knowing everything. Communication was not effective during shift change so many things fell through the cracks.
What I like about the company
Worked in an environment surround by IT professionals that were willing to help and teach. Was able to do some new things and learn about scripting. Pay and compensation was good with room for advancement. Managers allowed for flexibility in the schedule to accommodate personal needs if they were notified early enough.
What I dislike about the company
The long weekend hours (12) for one person was very difficult given the minimal amount of work. Manager needs training on being a manager. Need to implement better new employee training.
