Suggestions for improvement
- Management should look at all people that really make the company work and compensate them as they should be paid, and recognize them for the great value they add to the teams/company.
What I like about the company
The people are great to work with. Great skills to stack on your resume with well known accounts the company supplies apparel to. Upper management is all "community" family, so the environment is very family feeling, everyone is very friendly from the top down. Many holidays; all major US holidays plus Jewish holidays paid off. In addition to the holidays, nice package of vacation/sick days per year.
What I dislike about the company
Very little recognition of good work, bonuses are rare. Mass lay-offs made to adjust the current retail environment while the company spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on cosmetic unnecessary spaces and excessive travel. There are people in high profile positions that are incompetent, but in the job because they are family. (i would hire my family if the company was mine, but put these people in jobs that they can do to help the company)
