too much favortism and not a feeling you can approach local leadership
On a local level, managers are too friendly with coworkers and show too much favortism
Local leaders could be better with communication. Corporately speaking they did send communications to let you know the state of the company.
Office / Work Environment
uniform standards should be relevant to local climate and weather
They do provide flexible schedules
Working in customer service has a special set of challenging issues especially when dealing with the public.
Suggestions for improvement
- I would improve how employees engage with one another. There is a lot of segregation among diverse groups and leadership seems to encourage this. All team members should work together as a team and leave personal issues at home.
What I like about the company
Jetblue was a great company to work for and gave me the opportunity to meet and interact with many different people from a variety of cultures. I learned a lot about the world and travel and had the opportunity to experience wonderful destinations.
What I dislike about the company
Leadership should not try to be friend with employees. They should remain objective and encourage teamwork not cattyness.
