If I could give no stars, I would. Like I said previously supervisors curse at their employees on a regular basis and gossip like it's high school. I tried to take up similar issues with Human Resources and was told to "just ignore it" because "it will get worse before it ever gets better". I was working in what used to be a closet with no windows and was in a room with about eight people. While in this closet, no one is allowed to speak to each other. It's an extremely hostile environment and being that I was so young when I worked here I thought that was normal and just what jobs were like...so not the case.
Support from management
Throughout the few years I was working at Jetro's corporate office, I witnessed employees getting cursed at on a daily basis, supervisors engaging in gossip and a ton of unethical behaviors. Most of the tasks I had to perform on a daily basis was self taught, luckily it was simple to figure out. It's literally just verifying that the computer correctly read the information scanned from the papers.
Some employees help each other to get numbers down, some won't.
Freedom to work independently
All the jobs I did were super simple nothing no one person couldn't handle.
It's mostly women working there.
No, but the management/supervisors should be given training in order to help create a completely different work environment and relationship with the employees and uplift the morale.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay is good for the work given. Benefits are offered. Paid every week.
Terrible. It's a very hostile & unprofessional work environment.
Getting a day off is hard you have to put in for your days on January 2nd and only two people can have off at the same time.
The morale at the workplace is very hostile and unprofessional.
Never get my job was at risk.
The works extremely easy and mind numbing.
Suggestions for improvement
- 1) All managers & supervisors should either be trained in how to treat/speak to their employees
2) Come up with some type of morale boost
3) come up with team building excerises (there's way too much gossiping)
What I like about the company
We got bagels on Friday's.
What I dislike about the company
The managers interaction with employees, the morale, the work is boring and mind numbing.
