The culture of the company is unsatisfactory. Always was an hostile environment.
Support from management
The management was very unprofessional, dishonest, lack of skills in management position, untrustworthy and never had the employees back. From the CEO down to the operations manager was all about themselves. Never too the initiative to support employees out on mission. Instead of addressing a situation to the individual that is not up to standard, the company would punish everyone. Made promises that was never provided.
For the team members that were in the different departments, some worked together but most did not. Had employees that thought they were better than others. Always had leaders instead of followers,
Freedom to work independently
In some ways the individuals was trusted to work independently but for the type of work that needed to be done, it had to be a team effort with another coworker.
When it came to communication about the performance that is needed to be done was given but changed at the last minute that did not go with the job we are performing. Was not informed on company results when it came to the successes but was given if it was negative and put the blame on the employees instead of the company management. The company is always negative about most things. The challenges that the instructors face when we were out on assignment across the U.S. or abroad, we could never get results when issues are being face upon us and no one would answer when we needed problems solved.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Yes the company hired older workers. Most are all retired military. Senior colleagues are appreciated and supported by the company
No there are not employee advancement for the company but the company that we were contracting under had advancement programs.
Overall compensation for your work
The compensation for the amount of work responsibilities we have is under match. No their are not a compensated for salary but the benefits for medical and dental were free for the individual. If you wanted to add your family to your benefits was almost $1500 a month.
Office / Work Environment
The work environment was suitable to work in but it was too crowded. The employees did not have personal space for each employee to have their time alone to work.
No the company did not show concern for us when we bring up the problems. Also their was not a recycling program in place.
The company did not value work-life balance. They wanted each employee to be gone weeks at a time from home and only home for about 4 days out of the month. Families were not taken into consideration when asked that we are gone from our family for long period of times and would like to spend time home longer as possible. We were worked long hours on TDY and did not get paid for it when it was to support the job we were doing.
No I was not proud to work for the company because there were a lot of situations that were against policies but no one cared when reports. The company is against employees and has had low results from many previous employees.
With the company your job is not stable. Employees were threaten of their position with the company many times from management.
The work can be challenging when trying to complete reports at the end of the day because we work at least 10 hours a day while instructing and another 2 to 3 hours at the hotel to complete the reports at the end of the work day. I am very proud of the work the work that I produced. All my students were satisfied at the end of the mission on what is needed to be done of them when return to their company.
Inclusive / Diverse
There was a great deal of diversity within the company since it worked along side the military. I have no answer if ideas and opinions supported.
