Support from management
Management is again only supportive when they need something from you. But when you have a question, don't expect a quick response, or more often then not, a response at all.
I was a independent contactor, and the company culture is one where you do not talk to other I.C.'s.
Freedom to work independently
Again, as a independent contactor you have a lot of freedom.
The managers & the internal team do not contact you when you have a problem. They constantly call you when they have questions though. I find this rather counter productive.
