The work environment resembled a local family business and pets were welcome.
Support from management
Management was hands on and provided feedback whenever asked.
People were always seen working collaboratively on projects and reporting.
Freedom to work independently
One of my favorite aspects of my role there was the fact that they allowed me to work completely independently on my projects.
The CEO, while I was employed there, held meetings regularly with the company to keep us informed about future plans, financial updates, amd gemeral housekeeping.
Being a smaller company, it had limited opportunities for internal change, but, from an educational perspective, there was plenty to learn.
Overall compensation for your work
It was a small business
From what I saw, people worked the regular eight hour work day unless there was need to stay late. If necessary, people stayed and worked - sometimes weekends - to get the work accomplished, but, mostly, a very balanced schedule.
It's a place dedicated to manufacture equipment which helps people.
I was a temp employee, but, I believe I saw a lot of people there who were there for a long time.
Suggestions for improvement
- There are no glaring improvements as far as I can remember.
What I like about the company
The freedom to work independently.
What I dislike about the company
I prefer worning for larger organizations.
