Suggestions for improvement
- Focus on providing high quality work without impacting employee’s personal lives. Change company focus to one of complete and high quality engineering. Reduce number of CAD/BIM programs and focus on reprogramming them to optimize drawing output. Concentrate on employee wellbeing and switching management style to one that’s shows concern for employee’s career growth, family, and personal feelings.
What I like about the company
Company holds several lunch and learns throughout the year to help with continuing education. Snacks and coffee are provided when available. Also basic health insurance and 401k benefits are provided.
What I dislike about the company
Company is focused on meeting deadlines and getting work out the door. That attitude leads to incomplete or less than quality work, employee being overworked, and setting the company as the number one priority in one’s life, family takes a back seat to the company’s needs. Management style is confrontational and reprimands are done in front of others. Company utilizes several CAD programs all of which need work and optimization to be productive. Management concentrates on putting the work first so much, employee needs are disregarded.
