I entered one star because there is no option for no or negative score. The company culture is solely based on profit and pays nothing but lip service to the ideals of higher education.
Support from management
While my direct supervisor could be supportive at times, the campus and University management was utterly none supportive of employees.
There was little sense of cooperation between departments. Initially there was a deep sense of comradery and team spirit within the library staff; this was eventually eroded in the face of a demoralizing culture.
Employees could and frequently were terminated with little or no regard.
What I dislike about the company
The company culture is not supportive of employees or students for that matter. As an institution of higher learning the culture is myopically focused on making profit not academic achievement.
