Great culture, and office. However, I don't wish to do real estate (admin. role) forever. Too much emotion.
Suggestions for improvement
- Better communication. More direct goals; sometimes I feel that as soon as the next or better thing comes along real estate agents jump on it. It feels overwhelming and as if we are over extending our business. Sometimes it's good to stick to what works, and get back to basics.
What I like about the company
They share the keys to success, nothing is kept secret. Every person has the ability to earn as much as they want. I'm in an administrative role, but with having my real estate license I have the ability to make extra money if I want. I enjoy my company, but hate the industry of real estate. There are too many possibilities for high emotions, and mistakes. I do not wish to make real estate my forever job. Planning on leaving within the next 12 months to pursue my passion of teaching.
What I dislike about the company
Lack of directness. I work on a team within my company that has different (individual) practices. There are many times when there are assumptions made, or lack of communication due to being too busy. Because of this I feel like I'm never able to confidently make decisions, and always feel anxiety. I feel like I can never satisfy my boss. Again, all agents on my team, and the consumers have high emotional states, it's hard to deal with. I'm a very passive person, and easy to get along with, and even still, this industry is hard to deal with.
