The culture of the snacks division deteriorated from friendly to hostile in the last five years that I was employed by Kellogg's. Outsiders were brought in that had little or no experience with the nuances of our industry. A lack of trust for upper management unsued because all communication flowed in one direction-down. Work-life balance virtually disappeared with work loads becoming unmanageable. Managers would frequently call long after normal business days would end. Tenured employees were systematically "let go".
Relationships among peers was good. However relations with management ranged from distrust to hostility.
