faith based organization, they take care of their employees and pray during shift change.
I am an ER nurse, every day brings on new challenges
Suggestions for improvement
- I would like the front line employees to have more of a say when it comes to staffing, products, and flow of our company. This company is built from quality patient care, and I think front line workers are the best ones to listen to. I also think there should be less spending on things such as commercials, buying a bunch of land, and then being unable to pay employees or cutting employees. That makes me feel that employees are disposable and we are not valued. I also think that instead of handing out random things like socks, lunch boxes, pens should stop, and we should get money bonuses for a job well done, or take that extra money and divide it among everyone for once a year bonus.
What I like about the company
KHN is a faith based organization that treats their employees well. I love the fact that praying before shifts/meetings, etc. is involved. They give numerous opportunities to get involved within the company and the community. Staff members treat each other with respect.
What I dislike about the company
I would like them to listen more when front line workers, nurses, etc. have an opinion on products, etc. that are bought. We are the ones actually using them, so it would help to get our voices heard. I also disapprove of some policies and being asked to do too much sometimes.
