Company Culture

We have cookouts at work together during the summer and potlucks during the winter. They spend a lot of time training us in different areas so we can get certifications.

Support from management

The owners really care about you. I once quit, but came back after working at two other places. The owners went out of their way to accommodate my needs.

Internal Communication

Not always the best at contacting everyone about issues.

Overall compensation for your work

Not entirely happy with their compensation. They base it off the number of years you've been out of school / certified and then do cost-of-living adjustments based off some government website. Keeps us in the middle of the pay level of my friends at the hospital.

Environmental Friendliness

They always allow us to schedule off for special days and celebrations.

Work-Life Balance

I'm part-time but often work full-time hours. Can interfere with social plans.

Job Security

They basically won't fire you unless you endanger a patient or are nasty to co-workers. This is great except some people don't want to work much and dump on the rest of us.

Workplace Safety

Sick of OSHA crap videos and lectures by the office manager about safety.

Challenging Work

The work is challenging with different types of patients.

  • Get stricter with the lazy butts.

Working with kids and the variety of different types of visits.

The other employees who don't want to work and gossip.
