Freedom to work independently
Freedom to work independently is high because there is no accountability. Therefore, some ppl work extremely hard while coworkers do the bare minimum if anything at all. Hard to see associates that do not have secretaries that assist them at all. It should be a team!
Attitude towards older colleagues
I don’t think a lot of the assistants give the older partners the respect they deserve.
Office / Work Environment
It seems a lot of the soul has left the firm - not much communication or comraderie like there used to be. No communication with/from HR. Hurts morale.
Inclusive / Diverse
Firm does have a very diverse group of associates and staff. I like that.
Suggestions for improvement
- HR and team management need to communicate with staff! Let’s all be a team to make the firm great. Don’t see that anymore. It is nice to say thank you and show recognition sometimes.
What I like about the company
I love that there is an incredible group of brilliant IP attorneys. So much talent. Proud of firm as a whole in the clients we have.
What I dislike about the company
No HR presence anymore to manage the employees. Many take advantage.
