Suggestions for improvement
- Hire a more diverse staff, give more support to teachers, treat teachers as professionals. Stop bragging about being a high-performing, low cost (that is, low paying) district.
What I like about the company
I work with some amazing coworkers.
What I dislike about the company
Teachers aren't treated as trusted professionals. Benefits have declined significantly while pay has increased minimally. The district is a big boys' club and women get few opportunities to advance or participate in projects. Adminstration is resistant tohiring a diverse staff. Football is valued too highly.
