Support from management
Most of the Managers are brought in from Japan. They have a different work ethic there. You are expected to put the company before your family, including your children.
Teamwork is there amongst some of the employees and departments, but others only care about how changing policies is going to give them more work and not how it will better the company.
Some of the managers will provide you the details and have staff meetings to go over monthly profits and results, others don't feel that's important and rarely hold a staff meeting, unless they are told to by corporate.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Though the company is open to hiring senior employees, it is very rare that you will see someone over the age of 40, unless they have been there a while. Management looks at the $signs, and senior employees will cost them way more than an individual with 1 or 2 years experience.
Office / Work Environment
Very Stressful environment. Most of the employees walk on egg shelves when certain managers are around.
You are expected to work all hours. Your personal obligations come 2nd
Inclusive / Diverse
The opinions of the employees don't seem to matter, if you are not of a Japanese heritage.
