Suggestions for improvement
- We as employees who are faithful to come and not miss work and devote our lives to coming to work and making it run efficantly and getting an awesome review from the state should get an annual raise.
What I like about the company
I have worked at this facility for a number of years. I don't have far to drive and I have a blocked schedule and as a nurse that is a plus. I always know which days I work.
Growing up in this rural area I have come to know most of the people who become our residents and it is like taking care of family when they are admitted. If I did not know them personally they know someone that I do. I will have to say it is like a small community in itself to work at Kittson Memorial. Most of the time I feel respected in my position.
What I dislike about the company
I believe that pay is lower than I should be getting and raises have not been a priority to administration despite the facility hiring more personal on. As a nurse I should be able expect a raise of at least 3% a year but have not received a raise in 3 years. That is awful. Inflation is crazy and plus they gave me a review and it was all fine, but how should they be able to give a person a good review without a raise. It is like a slap in the face.
