The other developers are nice.
Support from management
Generally you will not feel that you and management are on the same team.
Again, the other developers are nice.
Freedom to work independently
The lack of organization means that you get some degree of freedom.
Virtually no organization
Attitude towards older colleagues
Although the lack of organization means you'll work with technologies you probably never had, you can expect to form bad habits in languages/frameworks you're already strong in given the endless races towards unrealistic deadlines.
Overall compensation for your work
Developers are dramatically underpaid.
Office / Work Environment
Terrible offices in shared office space.
You can expect to hear, "I don't care if you have to work all night"
Decent enough rep with clients, otherwise not a known name.
"Performance" has little to do with your fireability.
There's an elevator.
Inclusive / Diverse
Management is more concerned about who is happy being significantly underpaid and overworked.
Suggestions for improvement
- There needs to be any sort of development process. There needs to be someone handling HR. There needs to be some methodology for determining deadlines.
What I like about the company
Lack of organization does translate to some freedom and responsibility.
What I dislike about the company
Literally don't even know where to begin. Incredibly manipulative and exploitative towards young developers -- if you're looking for burnout early in your career, this is the place to get it.
