SERVICE
With 600 service locations in 50 countries, Konecranes provides specialized maintenance services and spare parts for all types and makes of industrial cranes, hoists and port equipment – from a single piece of equipment to entire operations. Our objective is to improve the safety and productivity of our customers’ operations.

SERVICE PRODUCTS
Lifecycle Care is our comprehensive and systematic approach to maintenance. We can provide crane inspections and preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and retrofits, consultation services and modernization services. In order to deliver Lifecycle Care in Real Time, we use the Industrial Internet, connecting data, machines and people. TRUCONNECT® is a suite of remote service products and applications to support maintenance operations and drive improvements in safety and productivity. It is an important building block in delivering Lifecycle Care in Real Time.

INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT
Business Area Industrial Equipment offers hoists, cranes and material handling solutions for a wide range of customers, including industries like Waste-to-Energy, Paper and Forest, Automotive and Metals Production. Products are marketed through a multi-brand portfolio that includes Konecranes and the brands: Demag, SWF Krantechnik, Verlinde, R&M, Morris Crane Systems, and Donati.

INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT PRODUCTS
Our product range comprises lifting solutions for process industries, industrial cranes, and workstation lifting systems, including components such as wire rope hoists and electric chain hoists. The product offering features a number of advanced technologies such as automation and TRUCONNECT® remote service. We also offer a wide range of load and area control features that give total control over material handling helping improve operator safety and productivity.

PORT SOLUTIONS
Business Area Port Solutions offers a full range of container handling equipment, shipyard handling equipment, mobile harbor cranes and heavy-duty lift trucks, backed by a complete range of services. Products are marketed under the Konecranes brand, with some product groups marketed under the labels Konecranes Gottwald, Konecranes Noell and Konecranes Liftace.

PORT SOLUTIONS PRODUCTS
For container handling our product range comprises Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes, Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes, Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) cranes, Automated Stacking Cranes (ASCs), Straddle Carriers, and Lift Trucks. Our Mobile Harbor Cranes are also used for a variety of bulk handling applications. For shipyard handling we offer the industry’s most complete range of shipyard cranes including the Goliath Gantry Crane for ship hull assembly. We also offer a suite of software products for warehousing logistics, container terminal operation, and consulting services for new container terminal design and container terminal modernization.

  • Automate processes, where possible. Understand the responsibilities for employees, to see what can be streamlined, eliminated, or delagated.

What I like about the company

Team atmosphere. Very nice group of coworkers.

Too many manual processes. Many employees have too many responsibilities. Impossible to keep up.

Heavy workloads are undoubtedly a part of a company that strives for continuous improvement and growth. That being said, we will continue to work with leadership to make sure they develop the discipline of prioritizing projects and delegating tasks in a balanced way within teams. Furthermore, I’m sorry to hear you felt that you weren’t compensated fairly. When considering our compensation package as whole, we take into account a number of things. We evaluate market rates and attempt to pay our employees within those ranges. Beyond base pay, we also take into account a total compensation package that includes up to a 5% match on 401(k) retirement contributions, profit-sharing, and provides employees with significant health and wellness benefits. This is a continuous process as we know that the market moves very quickly, and so we try to adjust accordingly considering our responsibility to shareholders, employees and customers.
