They preach their mission goals and core values but they don't live them. It's dollar signs that keeps that company motivated.
Support from management
This is a company that dictates to you. They are not open to new ideas and they don't care for individuals.
This is definitely a foreign concept to Kool Smiles. The only teamwork is when the parent company Benevis teams up against an individual office.
Freedom to work independently
Micromanaged almost to the point that they count how many toilet paper squares you use off of the roll.
Communication goes one way with them. From top to bottom. They says, you do. Period.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The only people who matter are corporate. Forget everyone else who actually do the work and make the money.
Overall compensation for your work
They do pay very well. But that's why people stay. The money.
Office / Work Environment
Deplorable. Yes they have AC in the summer and heat in the winter. That's about all that I can give them as a plus.
They are big on this. They want EVERYONE to give them a five star review.
At Kool Smiles you live to work. That's all. Nightly emails, responses expected on days off and vacation. nightmares all the time. You shouldn't dream about your job all of the time.
I gave this one but it's not the work that's challenging, it's the amount of work they throw at you. It's supposed to be healthcare not an assembly line.
Suggestions for improvement
- Burn down the corporate headquarters and start completely from scratch.
